Already a champion with Francesco Bagnaia, Ducati is apparently still interested in recruiting Marc Marquez

NONTONMotoGP - Factory Ducati has just won the MotoGP world title with Francesco Bagnaia. Even so, Ducati is still possible to recruit Marc Marquez in the future.
The Italian manufacturer and Marquez have been linked for a long time. However, it is undeniable that this opportunity has now opened up after Ducati ended its fast of world championship titles.

It is widely reported that Marquez has opened the door for not continuing his partnership with Honda after his contract expires in 2024. This is because the Golden Wing has been deemed to have failed to provide competitive motorbikes in recent seasons.

Dall'Igna admits that it will be difficult for Ducati to sign Marc Marquez. However, this is not impossible if Bagnaia decides to leave.

"In life, you never know or can never say," Ducati general manager Gigi Dall'Igna told Marca.

"It could be Pecco who left (from Ducati). We all know that we have a two-year contract, we know our relationship is always amazing," Dall'Igna added.

"Even in difficult moments, we already know how to help each other and find a solution. That's why I think recruiting Marquez will be difficult, but in life you never know," said Dall'lgna

In the 2023 MotoGP season, Francesco Bagnaia will return to compete to defend the world title. It is predicted that Bagnaia will again compete with Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) and Marquez, whose condition is getting fitter.

"Marc Marquez is always scary. How can I say Marc Marquez isn't scary? Marquez has shown to be someone who has determination, strength and a driving style that should make you afraid," said Dall'Igna.
